Soul expressions
These are named Soul alignments, not automatic abilities or replacements for the Body.
People and presence
Marsh Walkers make a living landscape out of places outsiders often call difficult ground. Frog-people, alligator-people, and tortoise-people share an affinity for wet environments, powerful movement, and alertness to changing conditions. A path may depend on water level, a reliable mooring, or the sound of something moving beyond the reeds. Knowledge is tested by whether it gets people safely home.
Their settlements favor adaptable structures and meeting places that remain useful as the water shifts. Boats, walkways, and dry resting ledges connect neighbors whose bodies meet the marsh in different ways. Stories remember floods, rescues, and travelers who learned to ask before choosing a route. A Marsh Walker might adventure as a guide, protect a threatened waterway, or discover that the wider world has its own currents to read.
Frog Souls emphasize Agility and the quick commitment of a leap. Gator Souls bring Strength and forceful motion. Tortoise Souls favor Stamina and the patience to finish a hard crossing. On the track, their tenacity and practical instincts turn changing conditions into a problem to solve together.
Reading the build
Body color and Soul color are independent. A different Race Soul or an Oversoul can accompany this Body. Physical or cultural descriptions do not automatically equip abilities. Check the selected ability for cost, target, timing, and effect.
