Hugo · SDrep

Hugo publishes original fiction as SDrep. The SST AlterNet brings together nine years of daily writing-prompt replies: moments of ordinary life in AlterNet universes.

From a prompt to a moment

The writing is Hugo’s original work. Where the original prompt survives, it appears before the response. A prompt heading is labeled as a heading when its supplementary text is missing. An unavailable prompt is identified rather than reconstructed.

Words, images and voices

The original prose is accompanied by AI-assisted illustrations and, in some adaptations, AI-assisted voices. Illustrations are interpretations of the fiction; their presence does not make a proposed character design a final canon reference.

The fictional sponsor

Ozone Independent Mediaries is an in-universe identity. The site’s sponsorship language belongs to the fiction. Ozone is a fictional character; Hugo is the real author.
