The class toolkit
Named progression abilities are part of the class pool. Level gates are not extra ability slots. Selected-path, resource, and activation requirements still apply.
| Level | Ability | In practice |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Veil Step; Smoke Bomb | Hide the approach and use smoke to break a clear view. |
| 4 | Disabling Sequence | Chain attacks to apply a tactical debuff. |
| 5 | Ninja's Path | Refine the chosen Assassin, Emissary or Fury technique. |
| 6 | Deep Concealment | Use advanced stealth to reposition through a contested area. |
| 8 | Grappling Hook; Final Seal | Reach a valid anchor with the hook or spend the opening on a finisher. |
| 9 | Way of the Silent Step | Improve the control and consistency of stealth movement. |
| 10 | Shadow Kill | Commit the Ninja's ultimate attack from a prepared opportunity. |
In the story and on the track
Ninjas use Chakra and Ninja Tools for stealth, mobility, sabotage, and ninjutsu. Tool charges track utility such as smoke and caltrops. Ninja players develop reputations through what rivals fail to see. An Assassin is remembered for the opening that looked safe; an Emissary for the objective taken while everyone watched another lane; a Fury for an illusion that made the wrong answer seem obvious. Tools are small, deliberate choices. A pouch of smoke and caltrops becomes a record of preparations, and every clean escape is a story the enemy must reconstruct afterward.
Resource rhythm
Chakra pays for skills. Ninja Tools track utility such as smoke and caltrops.
Specialization paths
Assassin — single-target burst and poisons (Dexterity); Emissary — objectives, speed and sabotage (Agility); Fury — elemental ninjutsu and illusions (Intelligence).
How it fits a build
Class and Spec each occupy one of the four core ability slots. Six stat slots complete the ten-ability layout. Class progression abilities are slot-free and level-gated; selecting a path does not automatically grant every alternative path. Costs, targets, timing, and access requirements still apply.
Keep exploring.
