The class toolkit

Named progression abilities are part of the class pool. Level gates are not extra ability slots. Selected-path, resource, and activation requirements still apply.

In the story and on the track

Card Mages play cards from a deck through a managed hand. The deck theme determines the available effects, and Mana pays for plays. Card Mages linger over deck cases the way other players admire blades. A favorite card acquires a history: the desperate draw that saved a match, the combination a rival still refuses to forget. Gamblers lean into that uncertainty, Collectors curate answers, and Cardslingers put flair into the release. At the table or on the track, the visible Hand tells only part of the story; the player must know what remains in the Deck.

Resource rhythm

Mana pays for cards. The Hand contains cards ready to play, while the Deck supplies the pool to draw from. A deck's theme determines its contents.

Specialization paths

Gambler — chance and high-risk plays (Dexterity); Collector — deck-building synergy and mid-match deck changes (White); Cardslinger — charged card projectiles (Intelligence).

How it fits a build

Class and Spec each occupy one of the four core ability slots. Six stat slots complete the ten-ability layout. Class progression abilities are slot-free and level-gated; selecting a path does not automatically grant every alternative path. Costs, targets, timing, and access requirements still apply.

Keep exploring.
