The Soul tradition

A Phoenix Soul carries fire as a memory of renewal. Its imagery is bright plumage, falling sparks, and the heat that remains after a flame seems spent. Bearers often understand their lives through returns: finding a purpose after failure, taking up an abandoned craft, or stepping back before a crowd that once saw them fall. Phoenix traditions turn remembrance into celebration.

Old banners may be remade rather than discarded, and a new beginning is marked by naming what deserves to come forward with it. A bearer may be exuberant, private, or still learning to believe in another attempt. The Soul's fire gives those differences a shared language without deciding the outcome of every loss. Red and Gold are Phoenix's Soul colors.

Its fiery identity can accompany any Body; Jubilee pairs a Phoenix Soul with Human Body, Cyber Icon Class, and Streamer Spec. The Soul's lore centers on flame, courage, and renewal, while any resurrection or other recovery effect comes from the character's specific ability rules.

One field, not an extra body

An Oversoul occupies the Soul choice instead of an ordinary Race Soul. Multiple compatible colors still describe one slot holding one ability. Its imagery does not automatically replace the Body, add limbs, or grant all its named powers.
