The Soul tradition
A Banshee Soul carries the sense that every voice leaves something behind. Its wails and shrieks draw on the mysteries of the afterlife, turning sound into an encounter with grief, fear, and fierce attachment. A cheer can catch in an opponent's throat; a haunting note can make a confident formation feel suddenly uncertain. Sound and emotion are the Banshee's chosen instruments.
Those who live with this Soul often become attentive listeners. They notice the things a crowd is afraid to say and the person whose silence has gone unremarked. Some sing to remember the dead, while others refuse to let sorrow be the only story their voice can tell. A Banshee adventurer may follow an unanswered farewell or use a frightening gift in defense of the living.
On the track, Banshee favors demoralization and disorientation, unsettling the rhythm a rival depends on. Its Blue and Gold colors bring the Soul's expression into a character whose Body may look nothing like a ghost. Why choose Banshee Choose Banshee when you want to change how much magic a team can keep around it. Banshees gain aura-disrupting and aura-bolstering abilities: they can remove Aura slots from opponents and increase the Aura slots available to their own team.
Against an enemy formation that depends on layered magical support, a Banshee can attack the structure holding that formation together. Beside allies with auras to bring into play, the same Soul creates room for a stronger ensemble. Banshees are better at disrupting magic than casting it. Dispelling spells is part of their strength, alongside the wails and shrieks that demoralize and disorient.
Their satisfying moment is the rival's elaborate magical advantage coming apart, or the team's supporting voices finally finding room to rise together. This is a Soul for players who enjoy watching what sustains a fight and deciding which side gets to keep it. Among Banshee players, a clean dispel can earn as much admiration as a spectacular attack. Some imagine their magic as a held note that jars an enemy harmony loose; others as a chorus that welcomes another allied voice.
The style can be mournful, furious, or fiercely celebratory. A Banshee does not have to sound sorrowful to make the opposition wish for silence.
One field, not an extra body
An Oversoul occupies the Soul choice instead of an ordinary Race Soul. Multiple compatible colors still describe one slot holding one ability. Its imagery does not automatically replace the Body, add limbs, or grant all its named powers.
