Supernatural charisma and attention
Story context & connections · contains spoilers
An El Gallo draws attention through supernatural charisma. People notice them, warm to them, and find themselves wanting to stay in their company. That attraction is often especially strong among members of the opposite sex.
Gallos can be women or men. El Gallo names the Soul, so it does not dictate the person's gender. The gift can put someone at the center of a room before they understand why others respond to them that way.
Chanta Cleer already knows her number when Dana Sharp arrives to collect her from an Earth abandoned by its other residents. Greg discovers his identity aboard a Sharp Air flight after he stays awake through a journey the ordinary passengers are meant to sleep through. Both are Gallos, with very different introductions to the multiverse.
