THE MOMENT

"Hello, God," Kwame smiled with amusement as he shook the teenager's hand. The spectacled teen also grinned.

"Turbo is fine," he added. "'It didn't seem important to change the default deity name; I've been busy. But, thank you for coming, Disaster has told me quite a bit about you." Kwame surveyed the area, they stood on a cliff overlooking a small primitive settlement. The sun was on its way down and a gentle chill floated in the breeze.

"Unfortunately, she did not fill in all the details for me; it was enough that she asked," Kwame turned his attention back to Turbo for the answers.

"Oh wow, thanks," Turbo nodded. "Then, you shouldn't feel obligated, I don't want to impose and Disaster's great. If you choose not to help, it won't reflect poorly," once he put Kwame at ease, he turned and gestured at the world around them. "I created this Server to run some experiments, so it's kind of barebones right now. But, I've been occupied and I have a project due that completely slipped my mind. I can turn in the work I've done here, and it's almost enough to get a passing grade. But, I'm missing one thing," he pointed at Kwame. "Can I ask you to spend a day talking to a few tribes spread out across the world? I need a Myth established and Disaster said you've got a great talk about Anansi."

"In the spirit of transparency, did she also mention I am a Myth of Anansi?" Kwame asked. "I would very much enjoy sharing the story with your people; but, I do not know if that might complicate what you're trying to accomplish."

"She did, and I'm hoping it'll help things along that way," Turbo nodded. "Feel free to use any of your powers and drive the idea home."

"It would be an honor," Kwame nodded and walked to the edge of the cliff. It would be more impressive if he 'fell from the sky'; but, he was considering other options too and Turbo continued.

"Oh wait, hold on; waiting on one more," he said.

"Another Myth?" Kwame asked. Turbo shook his head.

"Nah, the project's due tomorrow. I have a muerte coming to help me speed it up," as he answered, a portal opened and a teenager with curly, orange-tipped hair walked out and smiled at both of them.

"Kwame, this is my friend Quinn," he introduced them and nods were exchanged. "Since we're on a time crunch, she's going to help."

"A muerte?" Kwame nodded with understanding. "She will speed time to disperse the myth, then?"

"I'm really behind...," Turbo shook his head apologetically. "It's gonna need a little more magic than just fast-forwarding the timeline. Disaster trusts you, and I trust her," he continued. As Turbo explained Quinn stepped away and focused on herself. "Have you heard of the magical girl Court?" Kwame shook his head.

"I have not."

"Oh good, that'll make it easier. Quinn is a magical girl and she gets a massive power boost when she transforms. That's all the detail you need there; but, here's what's going to happen. I want you to spend the whole day talking to each tribe and building a solid foundation for the myth. But, we can't spend the whole day with one tribe and rewind time because that'll lose progress. With Quinn, powered up, she'll let you spend all day with all the groups at the same time." Kwame was genuinely surprised, and he did little to hide the expression as he titled his head.

"I understood Unique Souls could not exist in multiple places at once." Turbo nodded.

"They can't, normally. But, thanks to a glitch and a workaround, Quinn can manage it. She'll split off into different timelines and let you do your talk, then merge them all together again at the end. You ready?" He turned and asked Quinn as he finished the explanation to Kwame.

"All set," Quinn nodded and walked forward to take Kwame's hand. Turbo waved at them and prepared an exit portal.

"Having another Unique here gets complicated," he said as he stepped into the black hole. "Good luck!"

"Full disclosure, I haven't tried it on anyone else yet," Quinn giggled. "But, I can tell you, you're gonna get majorly dizzy at first; it helps if you close your eyes." He nodded and did so. The moment he did, a brilliant orange flash glowed through his eyelids, and he felt Quinn's hand tighten. Then, Kwame blinked. His eyes were still closed, he could see that. He let Quinn guide him and walked off while remaining in place. Then, Kwame blinked again. His eyes were still closed. He let Quinn guide him in a different direction and walked off while remaining in place. Then, Kwame blinked again. 10 more times he walked off in 10 different directions. The world was spinning around him in a dozen different locations; he felt dizzy, even with his eyes still closed.
