THE MOMENT
"You've fallen behind your quota,"
Satan said. He stared at the demon.
Stephen stammered, "Well, Sir, uh-,"
"Save it," Satan went on.
"This is number eleven."
"Hell works a certain way.
When you change what we do
you tip the scales a different way.
I'm afraid you're through."
"NO!" Stephen begged and cried.
"It won't happen again!" he tried
to bargain. Satan sighed.
"It's too late, Stephen."
Satan stamped a form in blue.
"Off you go, up to heaven."
