Springer Walker is a Bureau of Alternate Agencies agent on his ID. In Royal Sacrifice, he is a cybernetically enhanced rookie officer whose unease on patrol with Justice leads to the discovery that he was an NPC. Justice takes him to a lobby and directs him to Mundo for answers.
Aurelio’s Sun ‘23
Officer Springer patrols with Justice using cybernetic legs. He senses something wrong when a habitual coffee stop conflicts with his knowledge that this is their first patrol together. After answering that his favorite number is 34, he sees Justice differently. She stops him from pursuing a robber, takes him through a portal to a waiting lobby and tells him to explain to Mundo that he was an NPC who woke up. Justice says the system will replace the rookie intended to be shot during the robbery; Springer’s later consultation is not shown.
This officer-to-ID assignment is provisional author canon, not a Walker/B.A.A. bridge found in the reader. No police-to-Bureau career sequence is asserted. The favorite number 34 is not promoted to a separately proven Soldado classification.
